Experiment: a funded, teacher-led enquiry
Experiment is a teacher‑led programme that supports schools to strengthen literacy or health and wellbeing by placing learner voice, creativity and co‑leadership at the heart of the work. No previous experience of creative learning is required to take part, just curiosity and a willingness to try something different.
Each participating school will be matched with an experienced Creative Learning Partner who offers practical support, time to think, and honest conversation as the work develops, with the aim of supporting and extending existing practice rather than adding to workload.
The programme does not expect a perfect plan or a polished outcome; instead, Experiment focuses on the process of trying an idea, reflecting on what works or does not and using that learning to decide practical next steps.
What Experiment offers
a Creative Learning Partner paired with your school;
£2,000 to develop your idea;
a space to experiment, refine and try again;
a clear focus on literacy or health and wellbeing, and learners as co‑leaders throughout the journey.
