Google Teaching and Learning Upgrade licences available to purchase before 24 July 2026
Maintained schools in Wales can place orders with their local authority to purchase Google Teaching and Learning Upgrade licences.

The Google Teaching and Learning upgrade can be added to Education Fundamentals to provide enhanced functionality to Google Classroom, Google Meet and Assignments.
The licence includes practice sets (on YouTube) which can transform new and existing content into engaging and interactive assignments. With auto grading built in, practitioners can receive performance insights and snapshots into learner progress. Learners get real-time feedback as they complete practice sets, so they know whether they’re on the right track.
Orders should be placed through your local authority by 24 July 2026 who will arrange through the EdTech Service.
