Ystafell Athrawon at Urdd Eisteddfod 23 to 29 May 2026
A new space will launch this year, giving school staff from across Wales a place to relax, connect and take a break during a busy week.
The ‘Ystafell Athrawon’ (Staff Room) has been established by CYDAG, National Music Service Wales, and e-sgol, with support from Urdd Gobaith Cymru and the Welsh Government. The pavilion will provide a welcoming environment where teachers and education staff can come together to enjoy refreshments, charge devices, receive support and information, and gain inspiration during the Eisteddfod.
Organisations that support teachers will be available on different days throughout the week, including Adnodd, Medr, Dysgu, Neurodivergence Wales and Educators Wales. This will give school staff access to a wide range of expertise and support.
