An exciting opportunity to join our Personalised Assessment content review panel and help us develop a new report to support teachers’ understanding of learner progression.

We are considering how practitioners can be further supported to understand learner progression via the development of a new Personalised Assessments report.

To develop the report, we will be carrying out a content review exercise for Reading (Welsh) on 8 and 9 July 2026.

We are looking for Welsh speaking practitioners with relevant experience of teaching Year 6 learners and practitioners with relevant experience of teaching Year 7 learners for the panel.

Please note, if you have previously submitted an expression of interest for the Reading (Welsh) content review panel we will be in touch. You are not required to re-apply.

Criteria panel members must meet

Essential

  • 3 years + Welsh medium teaching experience for the relevant year groups (recently retired teachers since 2024 also welcome to apply)

  • Able to attend in-person content review events and commit to approximately 2 days for this activity

Desirable

  • Previous experience in standard setting activities

  • Evidence of engagement and familiarity with aims of Curriculum for Wales and progression steps for the relevant Area of Learning and Experience (e.g. by participation in previous activities associated with rollout)

  • Understanding of the Personalised Assessments

The content review panel for Reading (Welsh) will meet in person in Llandudno (venue TBC) on 8 and 9 July 2026. Panel members must be able to commit to attend all panel meetings.
